Entrepreneurial Learning and Teaching
AbstractEntrepreneurship is defined as a central educational competence in an EU context, being one of the eight key competences in the European framework for lifelong learning (European Union 2006). Furthermore, entrepreneurship has become an important element of school curricula in many European countries. Entrepreneurial education focuses on the one hand on teaching entrepreneurship – in a sense of founding and managing enterprises – and the other hand on developing an entrepreneurial mindset within the meaning of life skills. The article shows in two theory based examples, how entrepreneurial thinking and acting can be lived and supported as integrative element in all subjects.
