Abstract
The world provides us with great joy and equally great worries. There are studies showing that Westerners today are about as satisfied or dissatisfied as they were many years ago. In this context, we are interested in the personality of the teacher and his role in contemporary society. We pointed out the factors of the current environment that influence the personality of the teacher and the performance of his profession.
