It describes the social and psychological foundations of collaborative teaching and learning drawing on insights from social interdependence theory and presents six models of co-teaching in the context of teacher education from a theoretical perspective as well as in their practical application with a focus on modern foreign language education. </p><p><strong>Zusammenfassung:</strong></p><p>Dieser Artikel fokussiert die Entwicklung von Co-Teaching Fertigkeiten von Studierenden des Faches Englisch als Lebende Fremdsprache in der Sekundarstufe auf der Grundlage von Erkenntnissen aus einer qualitativen ethnographischen Studie während der Ausbildung.
